At Neumann | Kelley Properties the most important part of our job is to make the home shopping process as stress-free as possible for you. This is accomplished in the following ways:

  • We provide properties for viewing that are within your price range and needs, sparing you the time and frustration of visiting homes that are not a match for your real estate goals.
  • No missed opportunities! When a home that matches your requirements comes on the market, we will provide you with in-depth details so you can make an informed decision about going to view the property.
  • Your time is important. Viewings are scheduled at your convenience. If you have more questions after viewing a home, we will get the answers for you.
  • You can rely on our honest, professional recommendation as to how well the home meets your needs and wants. Our expertise can help you make an informed decision on whether to make an offer.

In addition, when viewing prospective homes, keep these questions in mind:

  • Does the home have the features you desire? For example, does it meet your needs for amount of square footage, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, closet space, kitchen size, etc.
  • Does the home have any extra features you might like but do not necessarily need? Options to consider include a large backyard deck, swimming pool, spacious family room, etc.
  • What is the condition of the home? Is it well maintained by the previous owners?
  • Is the home in need of major repairs, remodeling, or renovations? Does the furnace or water heater need to be replaced soon?
  • What is your favorite thing about the home?
  • What do you not like about the home? Can it be changed with a remodeling or renovation?
  • Take a stroll around the neighborhood. Are the homes well-kept, indicating pride of ownership? Do you feel safe?
  • Does the neighborhood fulfill your needs in daily life such as providing access to public transit, shopping, local parks, etc.?


You’ve just found your dream home and are ready to make an offer. Neumann | Kelley Properties has the expertise and experience to help you put together the strongest offer possible in order to make your dream a reality. We take into consideration:

  • Price – the price offered will be determined by the popularity of the property, the condition, location and inherent value. 
  • Your down payment – generally the more down payment you have to offer, the stronger your offer will appear to a seller.
  • Contingencies – we will discuss the pros and cons of contingencies such as a mortgage contingency, appraisal contingency, home inspection contingency, etc.
  • Closing date – generally flexible, the closing date takes into account seller and buyer needs but usually falls between 30-60 days.

We will then present your offer to the seller. If your offer is rejected, or if there is a counteroffer, we will work with you and the seller’s agent, negotiating on your behalf to make a deal.

There will be an open line of communication with you throughout the entire process. You will never be left in the dark.
