Shaylene grew up in Ridgefield as a second-generation Realtor beginning her real estate journey in 1991. Along with her siblings, she was an owner/partner of her family-owned and operated business, Neumann Real Estate, which they grew to become the premier real estate company in their local area. In March 2022, Neumann Real Estate joined forces with Houlihan Lawrence, extending the power of the #1 brokerage in Greenwich and Westchester into Fairfield County. A licensed Realtor for nearly 20 years, Shaylene is consistently recognized for her real estate knowledge, dynamic personality, and local area expertise. She was the team lead for the Shaylene Neumann Team for the past five years. In conjunction with her husband, Joe Kelley, Shaylene and Joe expanded to form the Neumann | Kelley Properties Team at Houlihan Lawrence.
Shaylene is a highly experienced real estate agent with over 30 years in the industry specializing in equestrian properties, luxury homes, lakefront properties and land with large acreages. She has a passion for horses and has owned her horse "Lucy" for 19 years. Shaylene is licensed in Connecticut and New York and is dedicated to matching her clients needs with the perfect properties.
Joe joined Neumann Real Estate in 2018 and formed Neumann | Kelley Properties with his wife Shaylene following the transition to Houlihan Lawrence. Prior to obtaining his real estate license in both CT and NY, Joe spent numerous years in the United States Air Force, including Desert Shield and Desert Storm. He subsequently fostered an almost 20-year corporate career, culminating in a position as the Vice President of Human Resources for Atlas Air in Purchase, NY before retiring. Joe’s strengths and abilities in leadership, team building, coaching, and mentoring lend themselves to the world of real estate. He understands that buying and selling real estate can be stressful and pledges to utilize his skill set to lower your stress level and make your experience as pleasurable as possible. Constant ongoing communication, and unprecedented accessibility are his calling cards! Joe specializes in all aspects of residential real estate and land. When not assisting clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, entertaining friends, traveling, and relaxing at the cabin he and Shaylene own on the Salmon River Reservoir in upstate New York.
Diana joined Neumann | Kelley Properties in 2023 and is a long time New Fairfield resident. She has enjoyed a distinguished 18-year career as a licensed realtor in both CT and NY and is passionate in assisting both buyers and sellers. The hallmarks of her service include commitment, hard work, enthusiasm, integrity and professionalism. She makes herself available to clients with complete accessibility and looks forward to forming new friendships with all of them. Diana’s goal is to give only the best service to all clients when selling or finding a home. As an added bonus, Diana is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish!
